Led by architect and designer Shweta Kaw, Studio Meraki creates architecture and interiors for hospitality, healthcare, and selective residential commissions.
The practice connects spatial psychology with building performance: how a place feels, how it works, and how well it lasts.

Each commission is led by Shweta Kaw, from the brief through design development and realisation. Architecture, interiors and furniture are developed together, with decisions tested against the needs of the project.
A Gold Medallist in MSc Building Performance & Sustainability at the National University of Singapore, Shweta brings an understanding of daylight, heat and comfort to the design of each space.
Shweta is also the founder of KAW, an independent collectible-design practice exploring sculptural form, material presence, and memory.

Hospitality
A 40-room hotel near Katra railway station gives pilgrimage travellers a place to rest, with rooms facing the mountains.
Façade louvres filter the sun; cantilevered floors shade the lobby and leave room for a garden below.

Designed and built for India International Hospitality Expo, this 20 sq m hotel-room installation was completed in three weeks.
A terracotta bed with integrated side surfaces anchors the plan. Curved furniture and a mural of desert horizons give the compact room a sense of distance.

A hospital waiting-lounge design for patients, families and visitors, with seating, murals and lighting drawn from marine forms.

Commercial Workspace
The top floor of Workwings was redesigned as a social and recreational space within a linear office plan.
Colour and curved forms define areas for reading, fitness, games and informal meetings, all within the existing structure.

A refurbishment of RISEOO’s India office, retaining the existing shell and introducing custom furniture and wall art.
The company’s infinity-loop and phoenix motifs recur in the detailing, alongside its purple-and-white palette.
